I got an invite to attend the GUESS LUXE launch via The Butterfly Project & I was really excited because it was my first event under them.

It was basically a showcase of the GUESS Luxe exclusive leather handbags. There was a colour theme to follow, which was white. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t have anything that was fully white (insert mental note to buy some plain coloured clothes), so I had to improvise with just a white shirt;

I attended the event, my colleague and fellow blogger, Marcia at RogueWolf. Events are always so much more fun when you have a girlfriend with you!;
As soon as I walked in, it was like a child in a candy store. I couldn’t help but just walk around, touching, carrying & attempting to steal (just kidding!) all the handbags.

I’ve never really been much of a GUESS handbag sorta girl, but I was converted that night for sure. The GUESS Luxe Fall/Winter 2013 collection was so chic! The bags were minimal, but with an additional detail on each of it to give it an extra wow factor.

Look at all these pretty bags!;
I could go on and on with super long descriptions of all the bags & why I absolutely need them in my closet, but here are my favourite among the lot;

Quilted, bronze tones, and plain black bags with chain handle details. So classy with a hint of edgy, I absolutely love!

But I saved the best for last;
This is the Golden Cage mini flap bag. It’s quilted, has gold detailing on the flap as well as the gold chain straps that can be worn both short or long. This bag is easy to match, and can be used on a daily. To me, it oozes sexy, confident, stylish vibes.

Oh, and not forgetting the super funky zebra bracelet from GUESS as well. I just had to try it on! Love, love, love animal accessories!

& speaking of accessories, here are some of the accessories that were on display that caught my eye;
The event kick started with these super cute dancers dancing, while modelling the handbags. Seriously too cute! (Also check out how they were swarmed by the bloggers all wanting to get a good shot for their respective blogs!);
After the little show, we were briefed about the collection, basically getting to know what the new collection was all about. They even conducted a contest where 3 lucky bloggers got to take home GUESS bags.

But no one went home empty handed as we were giving goodie bags at the end of the event;
