Heading to the Pestle & Mortar party, and in dire need of a change in the way I look. I love costumes and makeup/accessories is the easiest way to transform an entire look.
Was feeling very baby gangsta that night, so makeup was inspired by that;

Christmas came early this year, thanks to Makeup Revolution Malaysia!Makeup Revolution was first launched in London & ever since, everyone has been raving about how good these products were, especially for the wallet-friendly prices! I was completely ecstatic when they finally brought it to Malaysia!
The best part (and definitely my favourite part) it’s animal cruelty free! A brand that focuses on catering to the mass public in terms of colours they provide as well as not harming our furry friends, is definitely one that tops my list.
More than just those aspects, hello super cute packaging! I got the Parental Advisory explicit palette that has a flashing logo & changes design when moved;
Top off the creative packaging with incredibly pigmented eyeshadow that consists of naked shades as well as some darker coloured tones to allow some flirty colour play;I love ‘naked’ tones because they don’t look overdone against my skintone. Perfect for daily use and when I want a more natural, clean look. However, don’t underestimate these neutral tones, though understated, it creates a huge impact when you learn to play with colours. Create bigger eyes, higher brow bone, even deep set eyes; all with some minor eyeshadow tricks.
I played with nude tones as well as some shimmer and a little dash of black to create a smokey eye look;
I also mixed their Bliss lipstick (a pretty, vivid coral nude tone) with my skin-coloured nude lipstick for this gorgeous lip colour. Definitely give their lip colours a try. High pigments & at RM8 onwards.
I also highlighted under my brow, and cheekbones with their Vivid Baked Highlighter. The colour is too light for my daily wear, but perfect when I want to glam out;
Back to the Explicit palette. It allows you to play it safe, but also get your sexy on. Here’s what a little silver and black smokey eye blending action can create; My verdict of the product: Fantastic! Long lasting, high pigment, easy to blend & at a price that allows me to buy more makeup!
But the question is;
