As tradition would have it at Deeper Than Fashion, every year for Deepavali I release a collection inspired by the colours, elements and beauty of the festive holiday.

Of course, my collection wouldn’t be complete without my signature and original designs of the Indian Dreamcatcher. This time I took it one step further by incorporating designs of Hindu goddesses into them because every girl, is a goddess.

These are the beautiful pieces that emerged from the ideas in my head. I couldn’t be happier of how they turned out;

& since the last one didn’t have a goddess charm on it, the special person who bought it gets to be the goddess instead. I shamelessly was for a bit;1964966_10152421153427058_162871758943736270_n

I bit off way more than I could chew when I decided to set up a booth at Markets, this time a 2 day event from 11am to 8pm.
10446150_701656156575024_6612510014593618561_oWorking a 9-6 job daily, and trying to keep my passion; Deeper Than Fashion alive can be a pretty challenging task. However I’m always up for a good challenge, and these few weeks have been just that.

The hardwork did of course, pay off 🙂 The reason I do bazaars from time to time is to enable my customers to get a feel of my accessories. To be able to touch, feel the quality, see the colours through their own eyes (not through my camera lens) & to see the detail that goes into it. Also, I get to meet such awesome people!

Thank YOU to those of you who turned up to show this Indian mermaid some support and love. Feeling completely blessed to be doing what I love and keeping the dream alive 🙂

Special thank you to my bestfriendloverperson & bestbearfriend for keeping me company (& sane!) throughout the two days. Friendship like that lasts a lifetime *insert hearts here*

Incorporating dreamcatchers into anything and everything possible has become a norm to me, especially in terms of accessories. After several requests, I’ve come up with two types of dreamcatcher bracelets. Easy to match and be worn day or night, these dreamcatchers don’t just protect you from nightmares but also negative energy and bad vibes.

The Dreamcatcher -Line of Dreams- Bracelet;

Single Dreamcatcher Bracelet;OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASingle dainty dreamcatcher, with intricate weaving and contrasting bead in the center. Linked with bronze chains, and closed using lobster clasps. A single bronze feather charm attached at the clasp ends once measurement it given.
